Louis Barbe

Louis Barbe grew up in Bordeaux, where he was immersed in the world of skateboarding and graffiti from his early teens; his precocious talent was spotted by SuGaR Skate Mag, for which he signed several illustrations.

In 2021, he entered Beaux Arts de Paris and devoted himself largely to painting, notably in the studios of François Boisrond, James Rielly and Olivier Blanckart. There, he honed his unique style, imbued with dream and humor, flirting with the trashy without ever falling into the vulgar... His virtuoso painting and relentless style were quickly spotted, and he took part in several group shows at M+B Gallery in Los Angeles, Aucube, and Sabine Bayasli in Paris. He also exhibited at NADA & the Community in Paris and Minor Attractions with Candid House Projects, in London, in 2024.

Louis’ works can already been found in leading contemporary collections globally.
